[NEW YORK CITY.] The snaps that got the most reaction out of my viewers during NYFW: Men’s was BENCH / BODY + CADET because of the drop dead gorgeous half-naked models. Honesty, I even fell in love with both Dean Zruya and Torin Verdone – the two models that stole the show in my opinion of course and that of my viewers too. The creative team behind BENCH/ showcased underwear paired with CADET clothing at the Michelson Studios and I’ll have to say it was a brilliant location to present. There was a great deal of models that stood collectively around each other amongst sea nets with beaded amazonian neck pieces and a few painted marks on their faces.
It was quite a vision and kept me enchanted for a moment. Sadly, I feel that the models took away from the spotlight on the actual clothing yet it was the perfect spice to bring the attention to the successful Philippine based brand. It was also a great segue way to CADET’s notable clothing line and brand that were finalists in the 2015 CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund.
