Broods Concert Review.

[SALT LAKE CITY.] There’s a little obsession that I have with New Zealand after visiting Auckland for a concert. Since discovering BROODS and their tasteful artistry in sound I’ve been hooked and excited they made their way to the American stages. Thanks to Kirsten and Carla for granting StyleHeirs press access to see Broods’ Salt Lake City performance. Not sure if this was their first time in the beehive state, I want to say it was – being that they’ve been together for a little over a year now. It was surprising to see the amount of support that showed up with the little time they’ve been together. It was nice hearing the crowd sing every lyric and one supporter behind me made sure to give live commentary throughout – with comments like “this is the best part!” The combination of Caleb’s handsome background tones and Georgia’s bone-chilling vocals made this concert more than a sing-along, it was an emotional high.

Coming from Nelson, New Zealand Caleb and Georgia Nott co-exist together on stage as Broods. Off stage they’re living a life like any brother and sister would that works together. During their show Georgia reminded us by saying “We are here to play some music because that’s what we do.” Not only did they play music they brought an energy that felt equivalent to that of a top selling artist with a decade of experience. To be specific their energy cleansed my soul and helped balance myself in a therapeutic sense. Let’s not forget how I fell in love with them after hearing Bridges and that was mainly the song I anticipated hearing. It’s only a matter of time until they create more favourites and I’ll be looking forward to their next album release. As for the moment I can’t get enough of Evergreen.

Inherit Love, I AM,

#StyleHeirs.
