[MIAMI.] As my first runway show ever in the Miami tents during Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week, I have to say it’s one of my favourite swim collections. The swimsuits I wish women would sport more often are the one-piece type because I feel they have more sex-appeal than the bikini’s do. Clover Canyon displayed exactly that by creatively designing different digital prints combined with a variety of technical designs. South America has been the main inspiration for their collection, combining the exotic tropics and the latin-cultured sensuality that’s visible in the prints. You’ll recognize that the shapes are more sporty and most of the bathing suits are reversible. Clover Canyon also included simple slip-on sandals that also match cohesively with the prints on the swimwear. My favourite looks were hard to decided because literally every look is very stunning yet I had to choose my top three. Number one favourite goes to Look #18: Floral Garden Scarf Bathing Suit, Floral Garden Sandal. The multi colours divided into four different prints and hues is completely original. Number two goes to Look #16: Botanical Wave Reversible Striped Bathing Suit, Botanical Wave Sandal. The colours stood out to me yet again combined with the striped and side cut outs. Ending my top three favourite looks from this collection goes to Look #7.: Laser Cut Neoprene Bathing Suit, Striped Labyrinth Sandal. I’m a sucker for all white looks at runway shows and the laser cut outs are a nice touch.
