[SALT LAKE CITY.] A special appreciation to Greg & Ben and to Far East Movement for granting access to a special performance by Far East Movement last night at The Depot for a birthday celebration.
The crowd was star-stuck when the boys came to the stage causing a riot in the audience! Band members DJ Virman, Prohgress, Kev Nish and J-Splif make up the internationally talented group known as Far East Movement. The show wasn’t a traditional concert and was to support their close friend in celebrating his birthday. Regardless of the DJ set I still believe they put together a killer performance that was so interactive with their fans. No other group have I seen come to the stage with a inflatable rubber-ducky to throw out to crowd. I thought it was a nice innovative way to get the energy of the audience back to flowing to higher heights. Also the inflatable sumo suits were a nice touch that showed that the group has a sense of humor when it comes entertaining their fans.
The only song I was really looking forward to hearing was their newest single Illest. From the first time I heard the intro I automatically knew it would be a long lasting song on the radio. As I enjoyed the first few songs they played I figured they would have Illest close to the end of their performance. The presence that J-Splif and mainly Kev Nish had on stage was so impressive because they both worked the stage from all angles. Ensuring all in attendance would have an enjoyable show to witness not to mention the crowd surfing that took place. Far East Movement brought together beats from Hip hop to electropop that kept the crowd powered up and constantly sharing their experience via snapchat.
When you have a chance to attend their show buy tickets early because it’s sure to sell out. Never was there any dull moments as they were up on stage. Far East Movement will captivate your mind and take you on a musical high.
Much Love,
#StyleHeirs.
