[NEW YORK CITY.] There aren’t very many people that can motivate me to be up bright in the morning to trek in the harsh cold of winter just to see a fifteen minute show. It wasn’t a far commute from East Village I’d have to admit yet I personally know a few colleagues that just didn’t go simply due to the weather. This was my first time viewing his Fall collection after attending his past two Spring presentations. It’s hard to leave Michael’s shows because you never want it to be over and the atmosphere is just perfect. Luxury is literally in the air and your lungs are filled with it by the time Kors makes his cute effortless sprint down the runway.
This season has been linked to O•P•U•L•E•N•T Opulent Restraint as opposites attract. Most of his looks were very sleek and loose-fitting in select pieces. For the autumn season the use of the peacock tone was unusual yet exactly what fall needs to see in six months. It seems like he jumped back to the loose wide-leg trousers that he showcased in Spring ’14 which I wasn’t a fan of, perhaps it’s a level of sophistication that I have yet to acquire. The leather goods were very elegant and highly polished with it’s durable structure to travel and made appropriate for any milieu a jet setter may find suitable.
In case you missed it my thoughts exactly on Michael Kors Spring ’15 and Spring ’14 collection.
