[SEOUL, SOUTH KOREA.] The slogan “Everybody comes to pushBUTTON” was displayed above the runway and by the total amount of attendee’s it seemed to be true. Take a look at the video and catch the blue teddy bear sitting front row, I couldn’t even begin to explain but hey it’s Korea and it makes complete sense to them. As for me, it’s unusual yet still cool and I’m upset I didn’t seize the opportunity to take a photo with the cute bear.
This season designer Park Seung Gun decided to reflect on the past and gave an ultramodern outlook to the 1960’s and 90’s subculture. The first look seemed to be of a normal expected colour palette for Autumn then by look three nothing but bold bright colours were shown. Most of the pieces from pushBUTTON were loosely tailored – for example the male models had blazers that were entirely oversized on their shoulders. In look number thirty-seven, I really liked that the male model had a bateau neckline. Out of all the looks I’d have to say look number six and twenty-four were my favourite pieces I’d wear as a complete look.
