Ricardo Seco SS19.

[NEW YORK, NY.] Looking to the past, Ricardo Seco debuted his VISION collection at New York Fashion Week Men’s by strengthening his designs as he embodied ancient Mexican roots. In 1968, Mexico City hosted the Summer Olympics historically remembered by the controversial Black Power Salute. This year marks 50 years since the empowering feat which became the centerpiece theme. For the SS19 showcase Seco gathered multiple masterminds in creativity to design a modern movement as a voice for DACA.

With each look, Seco celebrated a positive and sophisticated man, blended in both sport and streetwear. That specific guy lives life without any fear of saying or doing what he feels. A man that carries that kind of attitude reflects it through his attire by his awareness of being in this world. Today, the western society is surrounded by specific conflicts in divided communities and this collection is Seco’s voice in affirming a distinct VISION of empowerment!
