[NEW YORK, NY.] In recent years, Made-To-Measure suiting brands have become the most cost-effective way to purchase a well-tailored suit. Personally, I feel that SUITSUPPLY has done a great job with branding in North America. Especially in New York City with their 5th location coming soon to Williamsburg in Brooklyn, NY. Which is most likely the reason they’ve decided to have an official presence at New York Fashion Week in order to showcase another suit destination that men can rely on.
At the show, I expected to see the essential colour options for suits like grey, navy and off-white. However, the deep emerald suit fed into my craving for colour along with the blush overcoat. It was nice to see Tim Gunn at the presentation whilst Nish de Gruiter walked him through the collection. The thing I was most impressed with at the show was the suited up ladies running the logistics side of PR. So, of course, women can get tailored suits from suistudio.com – the sister company to SUITSUPPLY that premiered last August. The next best thing to sweatpants are their trousers and I do pray that men will catch on to these rather than going out in unflattering joggers!
