Recently November came and gone without a new album release from Rihanna and that’s very abnormal for her. Since she’s been releasing her past CD’s every year in November starting back in 2009. Without a new album from my most favourite then I’m at a lost and need to fill the void. Then BEYONCÉ came along without notice and at a complete surprise for thee entire world. Consider this album my layover album until the queen of statistical-online-music-breaking record holder releases her eighth recording.
For me, buying a physical album is a big deal because I don’t do that often unless it’s perfection from start to the last track. An hour or so after Beyoncé secretly allowed buyers to purchase her visual album on iTunes only. There was a big commotion on twitter that got me all excited to hear what she perfectly prepared for listeners. Mind you she is a genius and planned this game changing event in every tiny detail. The fact that she sent out an email to the press at one in the morning describing the reason behind her actions. Yeah she’s a boss and the only reason she’s at the top of the game is because of her musical-innovative mind set. I would love to be like both her and her husband a huge power couple in todays universe.
The song that I absolutely fell in love with first was her tenth track named XO. Maybe because I’m in a vulnerable time right now with being in love. Which is beyond strange for me because I don’t catch feelings I’m a heartbreaker. The lyrics to this song just touches my little heart that I thought didn’t exist. Can I just be kissed out of love rather than lust. Okay too much emotions. My next favourite was Partition and I love it because it’s a dirty-sexual song that just awakens the inner freak that would get busy in the back of a limousine. Being a proud aries the part that excites me more is doing it whilst having a chauffeur drive. Another note worthy song is Pretty Hurts which was the first song and video that my bestfriend showed me. It’s a brilliant message that we all need to take note and apply it in our lives, basically – educate yourself. The song that I’m absolutely stuck on at this vey moment is Rocket because again my heart is in love. Not me but my heart is in love there’s a difference. Beyoncé is a hoe for her husband alone and that’s completely acceptable and I believe is a mature gesture and very beautiful. When two people are in love they always do things together and making love is the biggest gesture of deep affection. <3 When she sings “Hell yeah, you the shit. That’s why you’re my equivalent.” She gives a great description on what a relationship should be. Equals. In the future as I’m forecasting I believe my next obsession will be track nine Mine.
This album is worth purchasing and worth going to see live on Tour. I’ve yet to attend a concert from the queen of the #BeyHive but I’m more than excited to attend.
